Match the charger to your device

Use connector, protocol and wireless charging checks to avoid the wrong accessory.

Match your phone to the right charger, cable and power bank. Understand USB-C, Lightning, advertised wattage and magnetic wireless charging before buying.

Match both ends of the cable

Check the port on your device and the output port on your adapter. USB-C to USB-C has a USB-C connector at each end. USB-C to Lightning connects a USB-C adapter to a Lightning device. Similar-looking phones can use different connectors, so identify your exact model first.

Wattage is only part of charging compatibility

A charger’s advertised wattage describes an output capability, not a guaranteed speed for every device. The phone, cable and adapter must support the required charging arrangement. Check your device manufacturer’s instructions as well as the product listing; a larger wattage number alone does not establish the best match.

The Prelium 20W PD charger lists a USB-C output and USB Power Delivery support. The 20W charger-and-cable bundle describes USB-C and Lightning cable options, but the purchase option does not distinguish them. Confirm the supplied cable connector with Prelium before checkout.

For an iPhone, Apple’s official fast-charging guide explains the cable and USB Power Delivery adapter requirements by model. Apple’s charging-time examples do not verify the performance of a Prelium accessory.

Check wireless charging and magnetic attachment separately

Before choosing a magnetic charging accessory, confirm that your phone supports wireless charging and that the phone or case provides suitable magnetic alignment. A magnetic case alone does not add wireless charging to a phone.

The 5000mAh magnetic wireless power bank advertises wireless output up to 15W. That is not a promise of 15W on every phone. Phone battery size and energy lost during charging affect the usable charge delivered, so the capacity figure does not guarantee a particular number of full phone charges.

For a desk setup, compare the magnetic wireless charging pad. Check the required power source, cable and included items on its listing.

A five-point check before ordering

  1. Identify the exact phone or device model.
  2. Match the cable connectors at the device and adapter ends.
  3. Confirm the charging protocol and output your device supports.
  4. For wireless products, confirm phone and case compatibility.
  5. Check what is included, and ask about any connector or specification that is unclear.
